You&#39;ll own system-level design, drive technical delivery, and mentor junior team members - all while ensuring engineering excellence under tight timelines.<\/p><p><\/p><p><b>Key Responsibilities<\/b><\/p><ul><li>Lead design and release of electrical systems and sub-systems (e.g., wiring harnesses, sensors, control units, power distribution, communication networks).<\/li><li>Have proven experience gathering and understanding project requirements, creating requirements and specification documents and generating engineering reports.<\/li><li>Define system architectures, interface requirements, and integration strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams (Mechanical, Aero, Vehicle Dynamics, etc.).<\/li><li>Produce and check schematics, harness drawings, and 3D routings using Siemens Capital and NX.<\/li><li>Own parts from concept to release, managing DFMEA, DVP, BOMs, cost, and mass targets.<\/li><li>Work closely with planning, procurement, suppliers and manufacturing to deliver parts to spec, on time, and right first time.<\/li><li>Support vehicle build, test, and commissioning activities \u2013 including fault finding and rapid issue resolution.<\/li><li>Coach and review work of junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement in tools and process.<\/li><\/ul><p><\/p><p><b>Required Skills and Experience<\/b><\/p><ul><li>Minimum 6 years of experience in electrical system design for motorsport, automotive, aerospace, or high-performance sectors.<\/li><li>Strong understanding of low-voltage automotive electrical systems and relevant communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).<\/li><li>Expert in wiring harness design, routing, and system packaging.<\/li><li>Proficient in Siemens Capital and Siemens NX.<\/li><li>Working knowledge of industry quality and safety standards.<\/li><li>Proven delivery under tight deadlines in high-pressure environments.<\/li><li>Capable of taking technical ownership and driving projects independently.<\/li><\/ul><p><\/p><p><b>Preferred<\/b><\/p><ul><li>Experience with hybrid or EV platforms.<\/li><li>Trackside or test rig support experience.<\/li><\/ul><p><\/p><p><b>Soft Skills<\/b><\/p><ul><li>Clear communicator, confident in cross-discipline collaboration.<\/li><li>Pragmatic problem solver with strong attention to detail.<\/li><li>Proactive, accountable, and results oriented.<\/li><\/ul><p><\/p><div><div><p><span><span>At <\/span><span>Red Bull Advanced Technologies<\/span><span>, we take the winning mindset of Formula 1 and apply it to <\/span><span>pioneering <\/span><span>cutting-edge<\/span><span> technology<\/span><span> across industries.
